THE INSTITUTION
About us:
The CIC (Integrated Centre to Grow Up) is an Brazilian Institution
idealized by a group of specialists in 2002 and set up in September
2003. Occupational Therapy, Psycho Therapy, Psycho Pedagogy assistance,
Professional Orientation, Arts treatment are offered to provide a caring,
supportive and healthy environment where school children receive
training in social skills, peer relationships and are provided with time
out and respite care.
The group of the CIC specialists works with the family developing in the
children self confidence and independence.
The Institution has many projects and has been sponsored by companies
that invest in social programs and believe in our social responsibility.
Some of our projects:
- Educate yourself to educate others;
- Social clinic;
- "EI" - Space of Interaction;
- School of Parents;
- Supervised Appointments;
- Group of Studies; and
- School Intervention.
Since the CIC was set up it has been winning some award such as Child
Friendly Institution recognized by ABRINQ Association. Also the team of
specialists has been growing as well as the number of children in
treatment.
